Bringing together a team of clinical experts and professionals in the field of ageing, the Ageing Well masterclasses are designed to provide practical assistance and support to help navigate some of the issues around ageing, including vital information about available services.
Masterclasses will be delivered over six weeks, every Thursday at 10:00am, concluding at approximately 12:00pm, hosted by Melkites Charitable Foundation. Refreshments will be provided.
The event dates in Mortlake are: Thursday 26 October, Thursday 2 November, Thursday 9 November, Thursday 16 November, Thursday 23 November, Thursday 30 November.

Masterclass 2: Physical Wellbeing: Discuss the importance of physical exercise, nutrition, falls prevention, health checks, carer fatigue and memory loss in later life.
Masterclass 3:Social Connection and Psychological Wellbeing: Explore the importance of social connections and discusses mental illness in later life.
Masterclass 4: Planning for Your Future, financial and legal decisions. Hear from NSW Trustee & Guardian the importance of planning for your older age right now and outlines what needs your careful consideration. Service NSW will also join us to discuss the Savings Finder which assists in finding out all about savings you may be entitled to.
Masterclass 5: Using the internet safely and avoiding financial abuse. Discuss the benefits of embracing digital technologies and outlines some of the essentials of internet safety to help avoid common traps and scams. This class also discusses identifying and preventing Elder Abuse.
Masterclass 6: Ageing Gracefully, Living Fruitfully: Explore Catholic spirituality and the blessings and challenges of a more faith-filled life.
